At the 2010 B.I.D. International Quality Summit, the best companies from 65 different countries assembled in the name of international quality culture. From Vietnam, Bau Lien Ngoc, Assistant General Director, stood before the diverse gathering to illustrate the achievements of Lilama 18 Joint Stock Company. For its demonstrated commitment to quality and the spreading of quality culture, as well as versatility in the face of constant change and refusal to accept the status quo, Lilama 18 Joint Stock Company was named winner of the 2010 B.I.D. International Quality Summit Award in New York. B.I.D. presents this trophy to those companies from around the world that best adhere to excellence and innovation in their practices, putting quality first.
Lilama 18 Joint Stock Company was honored in New York before business leaders and representatives of the diplomatic corps from 65 different countries. Before this international summit, Bau Lien Ngoc, Assistant General Director of Lilama 18 Joint Stock Company received a distinction given by B.I.D. to companies committed to quality, the International Quality Summit Award, from the President of Business Initiative Directions, Jose E. Prieto.
In recognition of these merits, international leaders were presented with an award that many have come to term the "Oscar of the Business World," in New York City, a global center for international relations. This year, winners of the International Quality Summit Award include Galadari Brothers Co. (LLC), a major business conglomerate from the United Arab Emirates comprised of automobiles, industrial trading, media, retail, engineering, hospitality, real estate, IT, and travel and tourism. Joining them as winners is foremost insurance provider in Russia, especially for the Group of Russian Railway companies, Insurance Company ZHASO. A twice recognized “China Top Brand” by central government authorities in recognition of its high quality design, manufacture, and marketing of brand watches and other precious metal jewelry items, Ebohr Luxuries International Limited took home the International Quality Summit Award in the Platinum Category. A first time winner, T.E.I. S.A.S., is a French company that innovates in technology, environmental and industry techniques, and agro-industry. Winner Logwin Solutions Macedonia Dooel is the Macedonian branch of Logwin AG (Luxembourg), operating worldwide through 250 international locations with sales topping 1.1 billion Euros and 5,500 employees throughout 36 countries. Lilama 18 Joint Stock Company, from Vietnam, was honored before the International Quality Summit and featured to the business world through graphic and digital media broadcasting coverage, for their noteworthy commitment to quality, excellence, and innovation.
Bau Lien Ngoc, Assistant General Director of Lilama 18 Joint Stock Company, a leading company in its sector and in Vietnam, received the International B.I.D Award at the 24th International Quality Summit IQS in New York City, which became the host of a gathering of those companies, and their leaders, that are most dedicated to quality and innovation, two key requirements for the distinguishment of receiving the Business Initiative Directions International Quality Summit Award.
