LILAMA 18 WAS AWARDED THE BEST M&E CONTRACTOR AT VINH TAN 4 THERMAL POWER PLANT PROJECT BY DOOSAN EPC CONTRACTOR

Recently, on November 26, 2019, at the office of Doosan Heavy Industries Vietnam (Hanoi), Lilama 18 was honored to be awarded the best M&E Contractor by EPC Contractor Doosan for Vinh Tan 4 (600MW x 3 Units) Thermal Power Plant Project from July 2015 to September 2019. This award is based on the evaluation and recognition of the labour achievements that Lilama 18 has dedicated and contributed to the success of project.
Lilama 18 was glorified as the best contractor based on the dedication in M&E construction that has contributed to the overall success of the project.
Vinh Tan 4 Thermal Power Plant is an urgent project, which is included in the National Electricity Development Planning for period of 2011-2020 with a vision to 2030 (Electricity 7 Master Planing) of the Government, built in Vinh Tan Electricity Center, Vĩnh Tân Commune, Tuy Phong District, Binh Thuan Province.
The project has been commenced in March 2014 and inaugurated the entire plant on September 21, 2019. Important schedule milestones of project were completed on time or earlier than planned: Unit S2 and shared items has been handed over and operated commercially since December 6, 2017, 20 days earlier than planned and PAC issuance. Unit S1 and the whole plant has been handed over and operated commercially since March 31, 2018, and especially Unit 3 of the extension plant was completed the power generation nearly 03 months earlier than planned.
This project has great significance in securing the country's electricity supply especially for Southern region. Vinh Tan 4 Thermal Power Plant Project has been selected by the Ministry of Construction to mount the sign for 60th traditional day anniversary of Construction Industry. Along with Lai Chau hydropower project, Vinh Tan 4 Thermal Power Project is honored to be one of two electricity projects chosen by the Ministry of Construction to mount the sign because it has successfully completed the criteria of schedule, quality and efficiency.

During the process of construction, installation and testing of project until it is put into operation, all units ensure the promotion of the designed capacity, meeting the requirements of electricity generation for the national electricity system. So far, over 10.8 billion kWh of electricity has been generated to the national grid by plant at the same time that also ensures the good implementation of environmental protection regulations.

In order to achieve these achievements, Lilama18 leaders and employees have worked hard, endeavored to design the scientific construction methods to save time and manpower and expenses, bringing the items that belong to Lilama 18’s responsibility complete 3 months earlier than scheduled plan. This award has contributed to affirm the construction and management ability of Lilama 18 staffs.
In fact, besides the Vinh Tan 4 Thermal Power Plant Project, Lilama 18 has been cooperating with Doosan through many projects, such as Mong Duong 2 Thermal Power Plant Project (2013); Song Hau 1 Thermal Power Plant Project (2016); Nghi Son 2 Thermal Power Plant Project (2018). Going through many projects in cooperation, Lilama 18 has gained a lot of experience in construction and affirmed its ability, maintaining the trust with the Owner and General Contractor, every time mentioning Lilama 18 brand it is referring to the peace of mind about safety, quality, and schedule in the field of M&E construction of industrial works.
