COMMENCEMENT OF CAT HIEP SOLAR POWER PLANT PROJECT

On October 29, 2018 morning Lilama 18 JSC had participated in the commencement ceremony of Cat Hiep Solar Power Plant Project as subcontractor. In this project, Lilama 18 will undertake the technical design and construct of project infrastructure; Build up the whole infrastructure and install the whole mechanical and electrical system for plant. Construction time estimated from October, 2018 to June, 2019.
Cat Hiep Solar Power Plant Project has a total area of 62 hectares with designed capacity of 49.5 MW, total investment capital of nearly 1.140 billion VND co-organized by Truong Thanh Vietnam Joint Stock Company (TTVN Group) and Quadran International (owned by Lucia Holding – France Republic) is the owner; The EPC contractor is Juwi Renewable Energy Company (Germany). The plant will be put into operation in the second quarter of 2019, contributing additional to the power generation capacity for locality, meeting the increasing demand for electricity, facilitating the development of industry, services and economic restructuring in the region.
This is the second project of the solar power plant that Lilama 18 participates in. Previously, Lilama 18 has carried out the construction stage 1 of the BIM 2 Solar Power Plant (Project 18N) with a capacity of 167 MWp by BIM group and its partner AC Energy – the subsidiaries of Ayala Corporation (Philippines) is the owner and Bouygues Energies & Services (France) is the EPC contractor.
