According to the signed contract, Lilama 18 has been assigned by Linde Gas Vietnam to design, fabricate and manufacture 04 pressured vessels which will be sealed U under the ASME standard, 01 vessel under Linde Gas Vietnam"s own standard. After the manufacture, these products will be put into use in the plant of Linde Gas in Phu My II Industrial Zone.
Using many supports for big rollers during the manufacturing process.
The vessels have big size, with volume of 100 -200m3, working at pressure of 10-25 bars. The tolerance of this project is 0.5%, very small in comparison with the allowed tolerance of ASME of 1%. All the processes of designing, preparing material and manufacturing are tested and supervised tightly by QA/QC of Lilama 18, AI Lloyd’s register and the Owner Linde Gas Vietnam.
Engineer Pham Quoc Huy (Manager of Technical Department - Lilama 18 steel structure and mechanical equipment manufacturing factory) said 90% of the weld joints would be done with automactic welding machine so that the weld joints would be better, more equal and productive as many times as manual welding. Especially, all the weld joints would be tested by Apave Vietnam with 1 of 3 methods: RT, UT or MT.
Lilama 18"s engineers had made good impression to their customer with the design of Hemispherical head. The strong point of this method is the reduction of thickness of material while it still suffers from pressure and meets all requirements of customer.
These products are now being manufactured at the factory of Lilama 18 in Ben Cat district, Binh Duong province. As planned, Lilama 18 will hand them over to their customer in middle July and middle August.
